Regional Operations Manager

Job Introduction

As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for a specific area within one of the busy regions. Overseeing the performance of catering operations for a number of Primary & Secondary school contracts, you will lead your team in delivering an excellent food operation whilst meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations

The role is:

  • 40 hours per week
  • 52 weeks per year
  • £50,000 - £57,000 per annum

Role Responsibility

  • Ensuring a consistently fantastic dining experience for all customers, with any issues being addressed and resolved quickly
  • Leading, developing, coaching and training all chefs within your area in a positive and motivating manner
  • Providing outstanding support and guidance to the team and demonstrating a positive role model
  • Developing engaging food offers & marketing initiatives, ensuring that we are on trend, innovative and profitable
  • Compliance with all Company & Client policies, site rules and statutory regulations relating to Health & safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH
  • Ensuring that our food offering increases sales and encourages retention of existing business

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for somebody who currently works in a development or senior culinary role and can demonstrate creativity and flair in the food you produce. With a passion for the industry, you keep up to date with industry trends, developments and innovations.

  • A natural positive leader who can demonstrate great teamwork
  • An ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge and experience in business related finances, including budgets and costs
  • Exceptional customer service skills and emotional intelligence
  • You have working in a compliance led environment previously, and understand the importance of following policies and procedures
